In the community: GreenPoint Roofing's commitment to the Colorado Front Range

Community involvement isn’t a side project at GreenPoint Roofing. It’s our north star and the heart of why we do what we do.

We’re a locally owned, family operated Colorado roofing company, and we’ve made a deliberate choice to stay that way. While a lot of roofing companies have been acquired by private equity and lost their local roots, we’ve doubled down on ours. The community is the reason we get to run a business. Giving back is just how we say thank you.

Below are some of the organizations, events, and causes we’re proud to support year after year.

Military veteran roof donations

Every year on Veteran’s Day, GreenPoint Roofing donates a full roof replacement to a local military veteran in need. We’re grateful for the service and sacrifice of every veteran, and this is one small way we can give back.

2025: Kern Scott, U.S. Navy (1972 to 1978)

2024: Michael Leon, U.S. Navy (1985 to 1991)

2023 Veteran

2023: Deborah Simer, U.S. Marines (1993 to 2003) and Robert Simer, U.S. Air Force (1986 to 1997)

Youth sports

Youth sports build more than athletes. They build character, teamwork, and community. Every year we sponsor and support local youth teams across the Front Range. As a small, locally owned business, investing in the next generation of Longmont and Boulder County kids is something we genuinely look forward to.

Toys for Tots

Our annual Toys for Tots drive is the longest running tradition at GreenPoint. It’s not just about the toys. It’s about making sure every local kid feels remembered during the holidays.

Adopt-a-Highway roadside cleanup

For years, GreenPoint has maintained a two mile stretch of Highway 119 in Longmont (mile markers 57 to 59). We love this community and the land it sits on, so we keep it clean.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity builds affordable housing for families who need it. GreenPoint donated all of the roofing materials and labor for a new Habitat home in Berthoud, Colorado.

Children's Hospital Colorado blood drive

Every year we host a blood drive for Children’s Hospital Colorado. Young patients rely on lifesaving donations every single day, and organizing this drive is one of the more meaningful things we do.

Unity in the Community:
GreenPoint Roofing is a top, Gold Level, sponsor

We’re proud to be a top gold level supporter of Unity in the Community, one of Longmont’s biggest annual Chamber of Commerce events. Unity in the Community brings together local businesses, nonprofits, first responders, and neighbors for a day that celebrates what makes Longmont special.

Being a gold level supporter is one of our favorite ways to show up for the town we call home.

Longmont fireworks

Since 2009, GreenPoint has helped the Skyline Kiwanis Club privately fund the City of Longmont’s 4th of July fireworks display, alongside a few other local businesses. If you’ve ever watched them light up the sky in Longmont, a little of that is us.

Marshall Fire First Responder Gratitude Dinner

GreenPoint organized the Marshall Fire First Responders Gratitude Dinner to thank first responders and their families after one of the most devastating fires in Colorado history. We pulled together local restaurants, breweries, and musicians for an evening of food, music, and gratitude.

Wild Animal Sanctuary

GreenPoint donated a new metal roof for the tiger den at the Wild Animal Sanctuary.

The bigger picture

Our work goes beyond protecting roofs. It’s about showing up for the people and organizations that make Longmont, Boulder County, and the Front Range what it is. That’s why we’re committed to staying locally owned and family operated. It’s how we give back.
